Lake Toxaway, and summertime fun with grandparents

Summertime is packed with lots of fun adventures for little boys. Family, friends, and animals all get to spend quality time with Hudson and his family!

One special trip involved driving up to Lake Toxaway to hang with Mommy's friends and their families. Hudson couldn't wait to get there and check it out!

Hudson noticed a plethora of acorns or 'rocks' on the property. He consulted with Sarah to see if he could help.

Hudson took it upon himself to make sure that every day was spent clearing the grass of any debris and properly disposing of it in the lake.

Hudson even had a dining buddy. William may not have been eating solids, but he was good company up at the counter!

Hudson's not the only cool dude in some aviators...

once the crew was back home they had some fun things planned!!!

First stop... breakfast at the zoo

Grammy and Papa couldn't resist the idea of having breakfast with all the animals...

Hudson even got to eat in a big kid chair!

even though we love giraffes, we're not sure how we feel about taking pictures with them...

After the zoo, the Holmes clan made their way back to the house for some quality time...

Hudson was even lucky enough to try one of Daddy's freshly baked cookies... He of course wanted to share with Papa!

At the end of the weekend, one set of grandparents shipped off, and another one subbed in. Hudson was loving all of the personal readers!

Do-do brought some freshly picked produce from her garden, and Hudson insisted on trying the tomatoes.... One look was all it took and he refused to give it up until it was all gone!
