JOHN VISITS CHARLESTON AND THE LOWCOUNTRY OYSTER FEST

John was in town this past weekend for the oyster festival. Visitors in town mean one really great thing to Lola.... VISITS TO THE BEACH!

Visits to the beach also mean that Patrick and Ashley get a vacation from walking Lola!

This trip was particularly special when Lola stumbled upon 4 eight week old lab/golden retriever pups. Lola had a terrible time deciding which one was her favorite... she gave each one equal love...

Ashley on the other hand had no problem picking a favorite

A warm drink, a cool breeze, and a nice walk with no dog dragging you down the beach... sounds perfect to Ash!

sometimes Lola's love can be a little bit overwhelming... this little one wasn't quite ready for all Lola had to offer

On our walk we typically find sand dollars, shells, etc, however this walk was a bit different. There were thousands of starfish of various shapes, sizes, and colors washed up EVERYWHERE... here's some pics...

AND NOW, THE LONG AWAITED LOWCOUNTRY OYSTER FESTIVAL..... 60,000 oysters all for us!!!!.... and everyone else within driving distance...

In charleston we do things a bit different. No fields of wildflowers....we were frolicking in fields of cotton!
