Finn's Baptism, The "D" sound, and Crawling

BOY WAS THIS EVER A BIG WEEKEND!!!
Lola and Lucy headed off to doggy daycare for the whole weekend, and the rest of the fam packed up the car for ANOTHER trip up north. Destination: Washington D.C. for cousin Finn's Baptism!

Mommy and Daddy had to make a quick pit-stop  at  camp Dameron, giving Hudson a few spare minutes to pick a flower for Grammy.

By the time we got to Caitlin and Chris's house, we weren't planning on doing anything exciting due to how late it was, and so as Patrick's camera sat in its bag, Hudson decided to show EVERYONE that he can crawl!!! Now, Hudson only gave us a couple steps, and he said he's going to work on it for its internet debut sometime next week. He said he'll give Daddy plenty of time to get the camera out next time.


Come 6:30 a.m., the cousins started talking to each other through the walls. The parents had had enough of the cousins egging each other on, so they delivered them to the grandparents to let them get their energy out.

Now that there are no walls separating the two boys, they can check each other out up close and personal

Hey, your shirt is soft!

Finn: "Grammy, would you please ask him to stop feeling my arm?"

Hudson: "Hey, get back here, I'm not done with you..."

what I really want is... TO TOUCH YOUR FACE!

I'm gonna get that face!

Finn: "Hey, you're shirt is pretty soft too!"

ok... PUSHUP CONTEST!

Finn seemed mighty excited that he was the taller cousin....

Until Hudson showed what a 5 month headstart will get you!

Grammy and Papa tried to explain to Finn what exactly it meant to have godparents... Grammy said, you know... like in the movie The Godfather....

"I'm going to make you an offer you can't refuse"

Once everyone was up and going, the worker bees began to prepare for the big party...

Papa took one of the MOST important jobs!

At this point, Grammy let Finn know that he would be wearing the same shoes that SHE wore for her christening....

 After the baptism, Hudson reached ANOTHER important event in his life. He started saying "Da Da". Again, he is working on perfecting it, so he will let me know when he wants it on tape, but it is on the way!

Floor time turns into Daddy's leg is a teething toy time

I'm sorry Daddy, I'm not sure what came over me!

If I can't crawl to it, then I will pull it to me!

all that crawling stuff is tiring... time to relax a bit.

Before we knew it, the weekend was over and we were packed up and ready to head home.... We can't wait for the next trip!
