LOLA IS OFFICIALLY 1 YEAR OLD!
Lola celebrated her birthday in Auburn which means 3 things...
- FUN IN THE WATER
- BOAT RIDES
- LOTS OF GOOD TREATS
Lola doesn't follow the general rules of getting in the water. Unlike most people who like to take their time getting in, Lola is more likely to get in as fast as possible and make as many splashes as possible...
The only thing better than swimming from shore, is swimming from the boat!
Although Lola doesn't need a lifejacket for swimming, she insisted that this was probably the easiest way to lower her into the water...
Of course, half the fun of swimming in the lake is chasing after grandma and trying to steal her noodle...
Even though Lola tried to climb back onto the boat with the ladder, she needed just a bit of help from Patrick.
And after that, the best way to dry off is to get a good seat with lots of sun and limitless views of the surrounding water.
And then a quick boat ride to get any excess water off of her...
After a long day on the lake, Lola was treated to a birthday surprise.... DOGGY ICECREAM!
Lola was enjoying her icecream so much that she could barely get a word in till it was all done. She did take a moment to tell us that this was probably the best treat she had ever had...
Even though at times Lola can seem to have endless energy, every pup needs a nap now and then. Mom even took a minute to join her...
