Every once and a while life gets a little bit crazy and the blog sits in collection mode. I present to you....before I start collecting hundreds of summer photos.... a whole bunch of pictures, videos, and stories from this spring.
Hudson is an animal lover, there is no denying that. He loves dogs, cats, the zoo, the aquarium. This spring, he noticed a nice little turtle out in the yard. He invited him inside for breakfast. The turtle's name was Elmo.
Hudson points out the various fruits that we have selected for Elmo |
After breakfast, Hudson pet his turtle for a bit |
Once Elmo was well fed, he was let go into the yard to be with his family. |
Hudson made sure that Elmo was given an open invitation to come back for meals. |
Spring means spring cleaning, and Hudson is not afraid to get a little bit dirty, and put in some elbow grease. He especially likes helping Daddy wash the cars....
The chair didn't need washing, however it made a cool noise when he slapped some suds on it! |
The dogs were not allowed to wash the cars because their nails were too long.... They spent their time playing tag in the yard.
Patrick had a special treat this spring with the annual Proms at the Military Aviation Museum in Pungo. Symphony, wine, fireworks, and old military planes made for a great evening with friends
Patrick was definitely in heaven as he geeks out over a P-51 |
Warm weather also means popsicles and frozen treats.... we were even foolish enough to let Hudson have one in his stroller....
with no napkins in site, no wipes on hand, the only solution was to let Lucy have her way with the leftovers in the stroller and on Hudson's body.... |
Warm weather also means beach time and warm towel cuddle time with Daddy....
Patrick's ND turf is still alive and well. Here it thrives in a position of power over the other grass. From its elevated position, it is immune to doggy damage.
Hudson and Finn have even gotten together for some swim time at the pool.
Did I mention that we love animals???
Spring and Summer means time not only in the water, but ON the water as well. This can be a very tiring experience for all people
Even the most tired baby will find time for bubbles though...
Even the dogs were tired. Lucy was out cold as Christine gave her the rub-down |
As Hudson matures and gets older, his eating skills have evolved as well. We have now graduated to the imitate Daddy and drink the milk from the bowl phase.... A very messy transition
Spring time is also ideal weather for evening walks in our new wagon. The walks start out with a very attentive toddler, and end with a sleepy cuddly baby
speaking of cuddly babies
AND NOW FOR SOME VIDEOS!
