This past weekend Ashley was lucky enough to have some good friends come for a visit. Johanne and Sarah traveled to Charleston, and that means that Ashley had to get them out on the water. Here's some pics from the sunset sail we took out of Shem Creek

Because of notre dame's last two defeats, lola and Lucy have been in protest of college football... Even after ND had a lead, Patrick still couldn't get his girls on board for the game... Here's hoping for a win!
So I realized that we haven't been very good at sharing our progress with our training of Lucy and her learning all the tricks that Lola knows so well.... Here's an update:
In the Holmes household, they usually are... We like to use our weekends for outdoor activities, doggy exercise, and home improvement chores. This weekend was no different

As we've shown you before, Lola LOVES to jump into the pond at the dog park. Lucy tends to try to do EVERYTHING that Lola does, so here is her attempt at perfecting her jump!

Lola and Lucy were lucky enough to have a playdate this weekend with 2 Great Danes from the neighborhood. Despite a huge size difference, they were a great match for each other and played and played and played.

While the puppies recovered, Patrick and Ashley got to work on their weekend plans... Tiling a backsplash!
First we went through a dry-run, sizing up and placing the tiles with wax to make sure everything was perfect!

Before we knew it, it was game day.... And what better way to spend game-day than to cook some good food and tile your kitchen!
Although Lola was pretty tired, she had enough energy to get dressed for the game
