Weekend Kayaking

This weekend was one of our last 'free' weekends for a while, so we took to the waters for a little bit of exploring. Even though Ashley is pregnant, she never flinches at the thought of a little bit of exercise...

and when exercise outside isn't an option...

Not only were we lucky enough to be paddling along with the dolphins, we got to watch them feeding...  
 no only that, but we were lucky enough to catch some baby loggerheads making their way to the water earlier at the beach!

Nursery is almost done! Pictures are being hung, mobiles are flying, curtains are in place, and other than a few more pictures and somewhere for our little man to sleep, we are almost there!

NURSERY PROGRESS!

This weekend not only marks the beginning of Ashley's 3rd trimester, but was also a time to hide out from the heat and get working on that Nursery. Before we know it, baby fill in the blank here will be here, and we want to make sure everything is ready to go!

4th of July in Charleston

Can anyone say HEATWAVE?!?!?!

despite battling 100 degree days with plenty of humidity, Pat and Ashley managed to go out and have some fun. Fortunately Bucketlist was still in Charleston, and provided a backdrop for a good time!

Bucketlist got some exercise this weekend, and was cruised up to John's Island for a little bite to eat.

Once back at the slip, Ashley entertained with some stories...

everyone was out on the water. These people even put a lifejacket on a rat and took it for a ride

After watching fireworks from the marina, I'm not sure there could be a better spot in Charleston to take it all in!

The next day, while Patrick was out and about with friends, they spotted Bucketlist trying to make an early exit from Charleston. They thought they'd swing by for one last look and a quick wave goodbye
