Hudson, Huxley, and their great boating adventure

Hudson and Huxley have spent a lot of time bonding lately. They are virtually inseparable and this past weekend was no different. The grandparents were in town, the weather was perfect, and even though Hudson is now a salty seasoned sailor, Huxley has never been out on the water....

Once on board, the roles switched a bit, and Mommy was the one who took to napping. Hudson had way more important things to do up on the fly bridge!

11 months and time with family

This past weekend was one of mixed feelings. We were sad to say goodbye to Hudson's Great Grandfather, but thankful for the memories that he gave us, and the family that we were blessed to spend time with...

We'll miss you Great Granddaddy 

This weekend was marked by our little man turning 11 months old, the start of the Notre Dame football season, and a long 3 day Labor Day weekend with lots of picture taking!!!

and of course a car ride or two....

and a nap or two....

Summertime means pool season is open, and the entire family took advantage this past weekend...

After a few bottles, things started getting crazy and Hudson took his pants off... I wish I could say this was the first time it had happened.

After some negotiating, Hudson agreed to trade shirt for pants and ate his meal with no shirt, but a diaper.... everyone was pleased...
