TWAS THE NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS AND ALL THROUGH THE HOUSE.... NOT A CREATURE WAS STIRRING NOT EVEN....
at least not until we got to Virginia!
LOLA was an excellent passenger on the long drive North. She kept busy
Chewing Bones
And Lola even took a turn with some of the driving responsibilities... Lola is a very safe driver and is always sure to check her blind spot.... if only we could get her to wear her seat belt.
Even though Lola knew we were going North for XMAS, she had NO idea what that entailed. We talked about snow and how up North it gets cold. We also tried to explain that she should be wearing a sweater when she gets there.
Lola obliged and let Patrick put her in her snow gear as they approached Fredericksburg.
Lola was SO comfortable in her winter gear that she decided to take a quick winter nap on Patrick's shoulder before their arrival.
When they did finally get to step out and see snow, Lola wasn't quite sure what to think!
It tasted like water....
Doesn't smell like much of anything...
BUT YOU CAN DIG IN IT LIKE SAND!!!!
After thoroughly exploring and investigating snow, Lola took some time to pose for her snow portrait.
Later on, Lola donned her sweater again and we hit the streets for a walk downtown...
We finished up the night with a little game of hide and seek.... Lola thought she had the perfect spot... she was just a little too big!
