We are back from the vet, and Lola is OFFICIALLY SPAYED! Poor Lola now has to spend the next 2 weeks wearing her 'Elizabethan collar', so that she cannot get at her incision site.
The collar is meant to keep Lola from licking the incision site, however I am pretty sure that the REAL reason that they want her to wear it is so that she is unable to see that they shaved her entire belly for the procedure... It is a look that Lola would never want anyone to see her sporting...
Lola has been a great patient, and has hardly complained to me. She said that the only thing she misses is being able to use her hands when she chews on her bones...
The Best part about her cone is that she can completely block out ANY competition when it comes to eating and drinking...
CAN ANYONE SPOT THE FOOD BOWL HERE?!?!?!?!
Although Lola will be living a fairly boring life these next couple of weeks, we'll do our best to fill up some space on here with some photos of the best patient in the world...
