34 Weeks, 54.5 lbs

Lola is getting bigger, and in our eyes is officially resembling a real grown up dog. There are plenty of positives and negatives associated with this.... We will start with the positives:

Big Tough Guard Dog to Protect the Family

Lola is the perfect example of a lady, and will excercise grace and manners as she patiently awaits upcoming meals...

Lola can now be used as a pillow

If Patrick is busy doing something else, Lola can be used in a pinch as someone to cuddle with.

Lola has become an expert at posing for the camera

AND NOW FOR THE NEGATIVES.......

Lola tends to take up the ENTIRE BACKSEAT now

(even though she does look cute)

Lola usually ends up on Patrick's side of the car during every long car ride.

Using the parking break can prove to be a challenge...

Even trying to shift gears can often prove difficult...

Lola has acquired a taste for Air Conditioning, and on a hot day, tends to try to hog any available air vents...

And Lola insists that she is almost driving age in dog years, and repeatedly asks Patrick to let her shift gears...

At the end of the day though, even her negatives give us something to laugh about, and we can't help but think that she is the perfect dog for us... no matter how big she gets!
