After weeks of boxing, packing, planning, cleaning, and a long drive, we finally arrived in Mount Pleasant...
The whole process was exhausting, and many man hours were spent unpacking the boxes, and assembling furniture. No one seemed more exhausted than Lola. Although not many photo taking breaks were taken, every time I paused for a minute I seemed to find Lola stretched out in a new place, napping like a pro.
Never too far from the action, Lola plants herself next to her grandmas for a little more R&R. No bed is worth being away from wherever family is.
Following their normal sequence, Lola falls asleep..... and then shortly after Ashley joins her. Time for a little mother/puppy nap....
Just like humans give housewarming gifts, animals also get housewarming gifts. Here, Ashley is introducing Lola to her new toy octopus.
After exchanging pleasantries, Lola gave the octopus a formal welcome to the house by shaking it around as hard as she could
Once the octopus knew who it was dealing with, Lola brough the toy back to her bed, where she could properly 'love-on" her new toy.
After unpacking for awhile, Lola insisted that we go explore the new neighborhood.
The only thing better than a neighborhood filled with kids and dogs, is its own dog park with A POND!
Here you can see Lola showing all the other dogs how to stay cool in the heat, and then bullying them in the mud.
After all the grandparents had finished helping, couldn't help noticing that the house just seemed a little bit empty. Lola spent several days checking their rooms, and looking out their windows awaiting their return...
