This is an exciting time for us. Hudson is turning 8 months old, on the verge of crawling, on the verge of talking, and at the same time it is just a little bit sad for us. With memorial day weekend behind us, we start to get ready to pack things up for the big move. And for one person in particular, that means dismantling the mancave.... Lets take a moment and say goodbye to the best room in the house (biased)...
This past weekend was a very special one for the Holmes household. Patrick, Ashley, Hudson, Lola, and Lucy were hosting the Notre Dame gang. This would be the first time that any of the Holmes children have really gotten to hang out with them!
First one to arrive gets dibs on the baby!
And the winner is.... EMILY!
Once Saturday was here and the gang was all settled in, we made our way downtown to experience the Spoletto festival and the Farmers Market.
Mike decided to allow the festival and market come to him instead.

After we were well fed, we took to the beach! All except for Tony's car... It got stuck at the drawbridge...
We finally arrived, set up shop, and enjoyed a bit of sunshine in preparation for our big night out.

A quick trip home and showers for the gang and then back downtown for a night of bar/dinner hopping

After a stop at Husk and the Gin Joint, we dropped by the local Mount Pleasant karaoke bar until our late night pizzas were done baking... only place in charleston where a round of drinks will cost you $12
2 pizzas later, and tony was down for the count.
Early the next morning Patrick, Ashley, and Hudson got brunch going for the gang. Lola Lucy and Patrick couldn't help going for a little walk on such a nice morning while they were waiting for everyone to wake up.

That evening we all stayed in, shared memories, ate, drank, laughed, and celebrated an awesome day together. The crew was a little bit lighter the next afternoon, and it was like old times for Patrick and his two roomates.
