The Holmes Family Goes to Naples

11 months after Harrison was born, the Holmes finally took a family vacation to Naples.

Harrison wasted no time getting down in the sand. The sole purpose of the pacifier was to create an obstacle to slow down the sand eating process!
Patrick is not entirely sure what is going on next to him...
sun protection for the face and lips is important. Harrison could not be separated from his chapstick

DohDoh is the ultimate beach toy. Hours of endless fun for Hudson.

The cute smiles only last for a minute. Then it is back to goofball mode. Silly faces and plumbers cracks for everyone!

do you know why I am smiling??? This is Hudson's toy!

Too much time in the water can make for ONE WRINKLY BABY!
full days at the pool make for very cuddly tired boys

First I lick your toy
Next I share the licked toy with you

nope... we aren't injured. Just pretending to have an eye-patch

Collecting shells
Typical beach snack..... chocolate chip cookie
just a cool dude...hangin at the beach.... munchin on a cookie
it may look like a pile of sand to you, but this is a monster jam arena

I can find shells too!

After beach fun comes some relaxing fun with the family

Harrison has become our messy/goofy eater. Every meal turns into an art project, a source of giggles, and I'm pretty sure he does it mostly for Hudson's approval

What would a trip to the beach  be without a sibling photo shoot???

our set director pokes her head in
Hudson shows us his tribal sunset dance

Something really special happened on our trip to Naples. We visited the zoo, and in one day, we saw the easter bunny, gave the easter bunny a seashell, saw all the zoo animals, and RODE A CAMEL! Hudson was so excited!

Not only did we have a nice meal, but the meal was followed by a dance party!

Here's some pictures of more pool fun
after the pool, Hudson got to color easter eggs.... along with clifford the red dog

Because we couldn't resist, more pictures of Harrison eating...
