Twas the night before Christmas...

and all through the house, not a creature was stirring. Well, in a house of 2 grandparents, 2 new parents, 2 soon to be parents, and 3 crazy dogs, EVERYONE was stirring!

Here's some pics of Hudson getting ready for Christmas
Grammy tries her best to rock Hudson to sleep

Papa also tries to rock the little babe to sleep...

sometimes we don't actually want to nap. sometimes we are more interested in Tummy Time
Coach Papa cheers on Hudson as he does his pushups

Finally, every good baby eventually goes down for the count.

It should also be noted, that this is Hudson's very first time seeing snow. He demanded that we bundle him up and get him outside so that he can experience the cold and snowy North.

sometimes it's tough to see all the snow when you're flirting with Mommy

The dogs are particularly fond of getting out and about in the snow. Here's some pictures of them tearing up the cold white cousin of the sandy beaches in SC

You're still welcome Santa!

Christmas Eve Dinner means adult time with adult games.... Note the adult hats

and the serious adult faces

After we got rid of our crowns, it was gift time. Who can name the big dried brown thing that mom and dad are smelling???? (hint... it's not from Lola and Lucy)

Patrick didn't quite fit into his 3xL football shirt

Ginger Beer!

Hudson's game day outfit for the BCS NCG

Even Lucy and Lola were given toys

Before we knew it, the evening was over, Santa had come, and we donned our Christmas Hats before seeing what he brought.

Santa brought Hudson his very own horse!

Hudson willingly put his hat back on, got dressed and ready to go to visit his family at Great Grandma Holmes's house.

After an evening of gift giving and passing around the new baby, we all settled around the fire of all PEAT and remembered our trip of a lifetime to Ireland
