I love bath time!/1st sick day

Hudson is a big fan of baths. Especially when it comes to drying him off afterwards. After lots of smiles he usually likes to tell us all about it. (see video below)

 As good of a little boy our Hudson is, even he has a bad day.

Hudson woke up with a 100.4 fever this morning, lots of boogies, a stuffy nose, and a little cough. Daddy though they should both play hooky and work on getting better

 It was suggested that a more accurate temperature was needed and that the best way to do it would be with our rectal thermometer.... Patrick was fairly distraught over this.

20 minutes later he was still double checking the instructions and trying to psych himself up for it

Temperature came in at 100.8 degrees, and we just had to wait and be patient until it was time to go see the doctor.

"low grade fever, mild cold typical of daycare" was the diagnosis. A little bit of patience, a humidifier, and some infant tylenol just in case and he should be all better

 After tricking Daddy into taking the day off for little Hudson, he was all ready to do some grocery shopping for dinner and his medicine

It was a tough morning, but Mommy showed up in the nick of time to save the day!
