New Years Eve

New Years Eve usually means going out, dressing up, going big. With the arrival of Hudson, Patrick and Ashley had a different approach. Not wanting Hudson to miss out, a New Years Celebration at home was in order...

the dogs rested up
Chef Patrick worked furiously in the kitchen to make bacon wrapped dates, filet with gorgonzola and truffle pom frites, and some bacon and onion sauteed brussel sprouts. It was a dinner for the ages!

Dinner was finished off with a Chocolate Whiskey Tart and some champagne of course!

Of course food is only a part of the equation.

Hudson didn't quite make it to the party, but he did pose for a couple of pictures
all the yummy food must have made Hudson Hungry. He drooled ALL OVER his pj's

One family photo, and then Hudson and the girls were off to bed.

You may recall last year that Patrick and Ashley participated in the polar plunge at Sullivan's Island. Although they intended to do it this year, Hudson said that 60 degree weather is kind of cheating for a polar plunge, and although he refused to get in the water, he asked us to take him so he could watch all the crazy people.

 ALMOST TIME!
 AND THEY'RE OFF!

meanwhile back at the house, Lola and Lucy started the year off with a Lazy morning

Happy 2013 Everyone!
